Woolley are proud to announce that we have been reapproved for the Gold level Award for the Suffolk Carbon Charter, an innovative award which recognises carbon reduction measures carried out by Suffolk’s small and medium sized businesses. 110 Suffolk businesses currently hold either gold, silver or bronze level awards which are gained through demonstrating, evidencing and monitoring reduction of carbon emissions.
The renewal of this prestigious award has been achieved through significant carbon savings made within the business’s own operations as well as promoting our green values through our professional work. Our Managing Director, Nick Woolley, also recently joined Oxford University’s External Advisory Board for the MSc in Sustainable Urban Development.
Woolley worked in conjunction with the Suffolk Greener Business Grant and the Grants 4 Growth program to secure funding towards the greening of our new offices, which included the installation of LED lighting throughout and fully insulating the office roof space.
