Seminar

Our breakfast seminar, on Maximising Returns For Landowners, at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford was well attended on the morning of Monday 30th June.

As well our very own Nick Woolley, there was a great selection of speakers, including:

  • Nick Harper – Managing Director at Hawkspur Chartered Surveyors
  • Neil Kelly – Development Director at Crest Nicholson
  • Derek Carr – Tax Partner from Peters Elworthy & Moore
  • Amanda Tagg – Real Estate Partner from Mills & Reeve

The speakers gave extremely useful and valuable information on all aspects of maximising potential value from land, from the structure of Development Agreements, to Tax Planning, and Masterplanning over the short, medium and long term.

The morning was brought to a close with an engaging and informative question time with good participation from a wide range of attendees.

The event, kindly supported by Coutts, has already received positive feedback from the attendees who described the event as ‘very informative and enjoyable’ and ‘very useful and comprehensive’.

After the event, our team along with many of the guests took a tour of the impressive collective of aviation exhibits from the past,  ranging from World War Aircraft to the Concorde, which we found extremely fascinating indeed!

Following the success and uptake of this event, we hope to hold more in the future so do check our website for updates.  Alternatively, if you wish to sign up to our mailing list for future events, please do not hesitate to email events@woolley.co.uk.
