Woolley’s intelligent community planning system, Concerto was first used on a major development with a pilot study in Norwich.
In Norwich, our Concerto system and its methodology addressed the locality’s main concerns by appraising the needs of the local community, in order to comprehensively inform a development proposal to the local planning authority. Our system enabled the developer to identify the most sought after facilities and the most likely cost-effective way to position these in a Section 106 Agreement. The power of our system saves considerable time and argument and from the outset demonstrates to both the community and local planners that the developer genuinely wants to produce a well thought through and sustainable proposal.
Our Concerto is therefore not ‘an extra obstacle’ to get through, but rather a way of saving both time and money whilst delivering greater outcomes for all parties.
