George has recently joined the Woolley team. His main role is to concentrate on Tenant Representation work in the Cambridge commercial property market. In his previous role at Carter Jonas he was responsible for acquiring large offices for blue-chip firms. Other notable acquisitions were carried out for major technology companies in Cambridge. George takes great pleasure in getting to know businesses and assisting them in often crucial phases of their development. With excellent knowledge of the Cambridge market and strong relationships with agents, developers and landlords he can assist Cambridge firms, or firms wishing to move to Cambridge in their search for their next office or laboratory. George is used to working with all types of team members from CEO’s and FD’s to FM’s and Office Managers. Exit strategies can also be negotiated as firms often need help dealing with Landlords.
George graduated from the Royal Agricultural College with a degree in Rural Land Management. He went directly to London where he spent 6 years in shopping centre management and agency teams, working for Lambert Smith Hampton and Savills. He then returned home to Suffolk where he worked in a local firm, Lacy Scott & Knight in their commercial department. From there he moved to Carter Jonas in Cambridge where he continued to work with the growing tech firms in Cambridge. George is also a member of both the Office Agents Society and the British Council for Offices, where he pays particular interest to the changing working methods that companies are adopting and their working environments.
George will also play a role in the asset management of various assets for, and on behalf of various clients for Woolley, using his commercial property experience to explore opportunities in East Anglia and further afield.
