On Thursday 19th September 2013, both Cameron and Annabel attended a Health & Safety Update at Harper Adams University College .
The seminar was a very useful tool in ensuring that the team is kept up to date on the correct Health & Safety protocol that should be adopted by the Managing Agents on our estates nationwide – and more importantly the potential ramifications of not maintaining compliance with legislation.
Cameron, in charge of Health & Safety for the rural portfolio around the country, for which Woolley are Fund Asset Managers, said “This course was invaluable for ensuring that the processes we follow as Asset Managers are correct and in line with current regulations. Annabel and I learnt a great deal of new facts, and we were provided with good advice which we will be sure to pass on to our Managing Agents straight away”.
Attendance at the seminar brought Cameron and Annabel up to date with relevant case law, and following a re-examination of Woolley’s Health and Safety Policy, brought about the implementation of some minor changes in office practice.
The seminar was also an excellent opportunity for the new Woolley pair to network with a number of surveyors working on various projects throughout the country.September 19th, 2013
